I got sent this story from Sky News (vial Yahoo) today
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20081014/twl-briton-s-body-found-inside-croc-3fd0ae9.html

First off, I have to save I look twice at any story from Sky. It's the sister company to Fox news in the US, and while Sky gets presented without the foaming mouth and right wing paranoia of Big Sister, it certainly has an agenda. Beware those who follow the link. Come to that I have issues with Yahoo's business methods as well. There are a number of pro-democracy journalists in prison in China because Yahoo chose to identify them to the thugs and criminals that call themselves the Chinese Communist Party. Nice guys, don't you think?

Anyway, to the croc and his dinner...

"The latest incident sparked calls for a cull of saltwater crocodiles, which are a protected species under Australian law.

However, Bob Irwin, the father of 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin, stressed there should be no revenge attacks.

"We have to remember that the crocodile is a vital part of the eco-system and it was behaving naturally," he said."

Revenge attacks?

Following on, perhaps Newton shouldn't have written his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, but should just have chopped down the tree, and spent the rest of his life throwing that apple back up in the air in revenge?
