I should think so too. We have enough problems in the UK without adding arbitrary detention of 42 days, the current 28 day limit is outrageous as it is. I know we need a mechanism to handle terrorists, but sinking to their level is not it. So yes, I can see a need for a specialized court to deal with these cases, and the cases may need to be held mostly in camera, but there must be a proper judicial system to allow those suspected of serious violence to face their accusers in a reasonable space of time.
